SPIRIT EMBASSY
"A Demonstration of God`s Power!"

A LOT of people have been confused by Apostle Paul’s words and I agree it needs revelation to understand what the Apostle was saying about marriage here. Notice even Apostle Peter agrees that Apostle Paul’s revelation is very hard to understand. Apostle Peter understood what Apostle Paul was saying but knew there was no understanding of what this Apostle was writing unless someone had the eyes of Christ on them. Look at this;
2 Peter 3:15,16:
. . . and regard the patience of our Lord to be salvation; just as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given him, wrote you, as also in all his letters, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which the untaught and unstable distort, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction.
See, In 1 Corinthians verse 10-12, Apostle Paul says that it has come to his attention that they are divided about what they should do and believe. Apparently some had written to him asking what they should do, Chapter 1, verse 1. Chapter 7, verse 6 "But I speak this by permission, and not of commandment" meaning this is his opinion and not a direct command from God.
Verse 7 "For I would that all men were even as I myself" he has chosen to remain unmarried. Verse 9, "But if they cannot contain, let them marry", Verse 2, "Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and every woman her own husband".
Verse 32, "He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord" In other words if a person were not divided between responsiblities of a family he has more time to devote to spreading the GOSPEL.
NOW THIS DOES NOT MEAN…God does not like marriage. He is the one who constituted it in the first place. All He is saying through Apostle Paul is FOCUS. All He is focusing on is the great FOCUS which is God.
In our marriages God wants us to love our spouses and love Him together with our spouses. Remember the Lord says where two or three are gathered there will I be with them. In other words marriage is the best place for the presence of the Lord if it is done God’s way and there is peace in the Home. Look it is wonderful when a family is sold out to Christ. It is the greatest thing to behold. Husbands and wives should learn to read the Word of God together, study together and pray together. IT IS WHAT THE LORD IS FOCUSING ON HERE.
The other problem is when Apostle Paul says:
“I do not have a commandment of the Lord on this…”
This does not mean He was just sharing g his opinion. No sir he is not. No Maam, he is not saying that at all. Look Apostle Paul was taught by the Holy Spirit. He was very sensitive to the spirit and received many vision But in this case he did not have the direct word the way he was used to hearing it that is why he says:
"But I speak this by permission, and not of commandment".
Apostle Paul says He was allowed to speak this because out of permission but not as a commandment meaning He was really allowed by God to say what he was saying although that was not meant to be a blanket commandment for all. Apostle Paul was not talking about his opinions here. He was saying exactly what God had given him YET AS STATED it was not a commandment that if people to do follow they will be hell bound. No it was not like that at all.
The focus was on praising and making time to worship, pray and serve God together with your spouse and douining it as a family. That is the plan of God! Make this your confession:
“In my contact I worship God. With my wife I worship God. I study the Word, pray, sing to God Together with my family. God is first in my family. We have made His Word the standard for our lives IN JESUS’ MIGHTY NAME”
That should be your confession forever for God loves families that worship and serve Him as one body and always put Him first as individuals and as families!
